blue scree came up on windows 10 after regular updates and restart

I have updated my OS from windows 8.1 to windows 10 and everthing was running fine. then there was normal updates which got installed automatically and asked me for restart to make updates applied. I have restarted my laptop and dannnnnn - its blue screen :(

i started searching on internet ad did a restore to restore point, restore process progress bar showed me its restoring files and popped up "Restore Successfull" and offer to restart. but after restart its the same again on blue screen :(

i am worried here .. pls suggest.

the error was - you PC ran into problem and needs to restart , v ll do it for u and the error was - SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED.

the tutorial shows for windows 8 , i was on windows 10 when this happened and there were couple of updates too ... still you want to do this tutorial ?

Apologies for my mistake. I thought you already tried resetting Windows and it didn't help.

With the error that you mentioned, I assume you can Start Windows in Safe Mode. Once you do, from the Control Panel, you can manually remove the updates that were installed on the day when the problem started.

After removing the updates, you can go to the Services snap-in (by typing SERVICES.MSC in the Cortana search bar), locate the Windows Updates service, stop the service, and set its startup type to Disabled.

At the end, restart the computer and see if that works.
