blue screen after update bios

I just updated my bios for the asus p8h77-v le but i get a blue screen error at startup. I tried adjusting some settings but it still doesnt help.

Can someone help me with a step by step guide? Not sure what to look at anymore...

Windows shows problems if there is a change in SATA-Controller Software or Controller Speed (AHCI < - > Legacy, 3G < - > 6G) It could be that the Upgrade changed the setting there.

go into the bios hit reset to factory default. save and reboot back into the bios. under the ai tab make sure ram set to xmp profile. on the main bios page make sure the mb set to standard not performace mode.

Looks like i had to change the sata! Thanks for the answers
