[SOLVED] Blue screen all messed up, when trying to update.

When I go to update my Windows 10 computer from 1909, it goes to a blue screen & then the blue screen doesn't display a stop code.

Occasionally displays without this weird graphical bug, but the stop code is still appearing off the display of the laptop screen.

that thing looks pretty old & abused.
could be a hardware malfunction but i would first just try a fresh install of Windows:
