Blue screen and Freezing.

Greetings.
I have recently reinstalled my windows 7 and all was fine for a few weeks but in the last few days my pc has been having a freezing issue.

From memory i have not installed anything recently.

I have just had a blue screen with the following error code

IRQL_GT_ZERO_AT_SYSTEM_SERVICE
STOP 0X0000004A (0X0000000074942DD9, 0X000000000000002, QX000000000000000, 0XFFFFF88007812C60)

at the time i had nothing running other then my usual programs (windows media player, Ireboot, motherboard utilities, steam and Zone Alarm ) and a game called runescape.
If someone can explain how to upload my minidmp that would be appreciated....

the system is
Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
fully updated.
Anti virus is zone alarm extreme security suite ( legit version fully updated )
computer has been scanned with malware bytes and zone alarm and nothing has been found.
all drivers and windows updates have been done. all programs are up to date.

I can find nothing to explain the freezing issue.

Feel free to ask for any info you think would help with this ^

Blue screen occured again with the exact same error code about 30 mins later. only new installs were a laptop HDD 2.5 " in an external case and a g11 keyboard + its utility

Looks like ram errors, there is no reference to any sys /exe/dll's of any kind try your ram sticks one at a time or get a hold of memtest at majorgeeks.com , it will make it's own disk [floppy??],, could try cleaning the fingers of the ram sticks, sometimes just removing them and putting them back in does the trick,, somtimes...

The cause of the freezing, or locking up, of your computer, is due to some either corrupted or missing files. And more specifically, missing or corrupted registry files. These are the files which tell everything on your how it is suppose to work. Basically, they are configuration files. And if these files get corrupted, or messed up, it can wreck havoc.

Follow the given steps and get rid of the IRQL_GT_ZERO_AT_SYSTEM_SERVICE error:

1. Download and install updates and device drivers for your computer from Windows Update.
2. Scan your computer for computer viruses.
3. Check your hard disk for errors.

I have the same problem but i found a way to stop this just remove RAM And i am sure blue screen will not appear and your computer will not freeze
my pc is now running correctly
