Hello shaikhnbake
Can you please confirm a few things:
1) Do you have a laptop or a desktop computer?
2) What was the error message on the blue screen that appeared?
3) What was the last thing you were doing after which this happened?
4) What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far and what was the outcome?
Please provide us with the detailed information to allow us to help you with most accurate solution.
Cheers!!
It is a desktop. I don't know exactly what the error was because it was my brother that was on the computer when it happened and he said he was playing a video game (CS GO) before it happened. I have taken out my GPU and put it back in after dusting it, un plugged and then plugged in my hard drive again, changed ram slots but nothing has worked so far. The computer turns on and everything seems to be working, I just can't get anything to display on the monitor
Hello again shaikhnbake
If the monitor doesn't even display the initial motherboard's manufacturer logo, you can try clearing the CMOS. To do so:
> Power off the PC.
> Unplug it from the power supply.
> Open the side cover of the system case.
> Pull out the CMOS battery (the one that is round in shape and shiny, and looks like those used in wrist watches).
> Leave the computer alone for 30 to 45 minutes.
> Plug the PC back to the power supply.
> Try starting the computer, first without the CMOS battery, and then with it.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!!
