Hey Everyone.

I am having a issue with my graphics card / graphics driver.

Up until this Friday my computer was working fine with no issues playing Shogun 2 on full graphics on Thursday night. Now after about 5 minutes of game-play my computer crashes, the screen goes blank, the computer continues to run for a little while then makes a few bleeping noises and i have to restart.

This has so far happened with Shogun 2 on both DirectX 9 & 11 modes and Hitman Absolution, i have yet to try other games but Skyrim worked just fine.

When i have looked into the BCCode : 116 i have found it is a graphics driver issue, i have dropped back to version 306.23, re installed 306.97 and even tried the beta driver 310.61 none of which have made a difference.

Any info i have missed out please let me know and i will post what ever you need.

I hope someone can help :).

Thanks All.

Below is the message i get when i reboot.

Hey

I have just run Memtest 86 and i gave up and exited it after about five hours and it had got up to over 13 million errors.
I'm guessing this is probably the cause of my issues.
What will my next step be? run it with one of the modules out to see which is faulty?
Or am i best just doing a RMA strait away?

Thanks

Hey

Found out that its just one of my modules which is throwing the errors, so i have tried it with just the other module with no errors and i'm still crashing =/.
So nothing is solved as of yet :(.

Thanks

I have the same thing going on. Started after I cleaned out my PC and video card of dust. Seems possible that the video card is dead -- personally gonna try swapping out for my old one and see if that helps.

Really hope this isn't the case, but looking at other threads online where fixing drivers/RAM/other things hasn't fixed the issue, it seems likely that either the PCI-e port or video card is dead.

It says solved above, but that link doesn't lead anywhere and I don't see a solution here.

Hi srsizzy
Sorry about that, i posted it as solved to close the thread.
I have since found a solution to my issue, that is to replace my motherboard, i have done this and all is running great :).
I don't know exactly what was wrong but i tried different graphics cards in different pci-e slots and all to no avail so i tried a different motherboard and it worked. Hope this helps.
Thanks
