Hey all, I have had this custom built pc for roughly three years now with minimal hiccups. Lately though I have been experiencing random crashing during the most simple of processes. This last time was during the extraction of a file with Winrar while I was surfing the internet. Simple enough I thought? I do not claim to be an expert at building custom computers therefore I may have indeed set something up wrong in the BIOS, I am open to any ideas.
Here's my Specs:

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (latest update)

Graphics Card: Asus HD7970 GDDR5-DC2-3GD5

Memory: Gskill Ripjaw x 32gb (4x8gb)

PSU: CoolerMaster Silent Pro Gold series 1000w ATX

CPU: AMD FX-8150 AM3+ 3.6Ghz

MOBO: Gigabyte GA-970A-D3

CPU Cooler: Corsair H100

And this was the latest "problem signature" from my crash:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48
Locale ID: 4105

Thanks to all in advance.

Solution
first bugcheck was the video not responding, windows tried to reset it bug it still did not respond so windows called a bugcheck to halt the system.

you amd driver is older (november of last year) I would start with a update to that driver directly from amd: http://www.amd.com/en-us

looking at your drivers: you have some problems:
you have 2 copies of overclocking drivers installed, you will want to remove both of these until you figure out your system problems.

this is a suspect driver just because of the age and it is installed from a temp directory

Hello marcus8h,

Method 1: Update chipset and other drivers from the manufacturer’s website and see if that helps:
Follow the article mentioned below:
Update a driver for hardware that isn't working properly
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isnt-working-properly

Method 2:
Try to perform clean boot and check if it helps, here is the link:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After you have finished diagnosing, follow step 7 in the article to boot to normal startup. You may also refer the article mentioned below:
Resolving stop (blue screen) errors in Windows 7
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Resolving-stop-blue-screen-errors-in-Windows-7

The info you provided is not a error code. It just means you are running
windows 7 service pack one with a language version 4105 which means (English - Canada)

to be helpful you should copy your memory dump file(s) from c:\windows\minidump
to a server and post a link.

this is a suspect driver just because of the age and it is installed from a temp directory
Core Temp - CPU temperature monitor
C:\Users\Marcus\AppData\Local\Temp\ALSysIO64.sys Sun Apr 19 12:41:04 2009

really old driver:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Corsair\Corsair Link\CorsairLINK_HardwareMonitor.sys Sat Jul 26 06:29:37 2008

usb3.0 driver are pretty old
\SystemRoot\System32\Drivers\EtronHub3.sys Mon Jul 25 14:30:59 2011
\SystemRoot\System32\Drivers\EtronXHCI.sys Mon Jul 25 14:30:56 2011
versions dated 2013 and newer tend to work, various problems with older versions.
get update from your motherboard vendor:

old driver:
C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\LxrSII1d.sys Mon Dec 21 10:43:13 2009
looks like Lexar® JumpDrive® Secure II Plus USB Flash Drive but make sure you want it.

very old driver:
C:\Windows\system32\Drivers\rikvm_38F51D56.sys Fri Oct 29 03:52:09 2010
Cyberlink Power DVD ???

old network driver:
\SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\Rt64win7.sys Tue Sep 27 07:50:33 2011
get update from here:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=13&PFid=5&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

old 3rd party utility (i would remove or maybe update)
\SystemRoot\System32\Drivers\SmartDefragDriver.sys Fri Nov 26 01:29:40 2010

same name as a malware file that hides as a printer driver (I would remove, too old of date)
C:\Windows\system32\Drivers\SSPORT.sys Thu Aug 11 16:07:32 2005

old xbox driver, I think there is a version xusb22.sys that fixes a few bugs (memory corruption)
\SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\xusb21.sys Thu Aug 13 15:10:17 2009

A BIOS showing the current speed higher than the max speed means your BIOS is out of date or you BIOS is overclocking. I would check for a bios updat from the gigabyte website. (BIOS updates also fix various problems, also check for driver updates for your system particularly USB updates)

machine info:
BIOS Version F9
BIOS Release Date 05/11/2012
Manufacturer Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
Product Name GA-970A-D3
Processor Version AMD FX(tm)-8150 Eight-Core Processor
Processor Voltage 89h - 0.9V
External Clock 200MHz
Max Speed 3200MHz
Current Speed 3600MHz
