Can someone help me please:(
I've recently upgraded my laptop with two 32GB RAM sticks (16GB each) at 3200mhz. After booting up, I encountered a blue screen error with the error message "C/Windows/System32/Logfiles/Srt/SrtTrail.txt". I managed to access Windows through safe mode, but a few minutes later, I encountered the blue screen error again. My laptop's model code is Acer Aspire 7 A715-42G-R05G.

Generally the fastest answer to that error is not the most comfortable one... a clean install. It saves time as the other fixes don't often work.

is it windows 10 or 11?

need to make a bootable windows USB and we can use it to copy anything off laptop you need to save

boot from USB
  • on screen after languages, choose repair this pc, not install.
  • choose troubleshoot
  • choose advanced
  • choose command prompt
  • type notepad and press enter
  • in notepad, select file>open
  • Use file explorer to copy any files you need to save to USB or an external hdd

Now I would clean install windows.

instructions should work for win 11 as well - https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/windows-10-clean-install-tutorial.3170366/

Test with just one stick of ram.
Then test using just the other stick of ram.

Hello, I'm glad you're interested in my issue! Following your instructions, I transferred the two RAM sticks to another computer (Acer Nitro 5, AN515-55) and reinstalled Windows 11. I was able to access Windows without encountering any errors; however, I encountered a blue screen error after 30 minutes of usage. And it couldn't restart after completing 100% of the error collection.

Thank bro. After I entered 'Safe Mode' by selecting 'Advanced options -> Startup settings -> Restart -> F4', I was able to access Windows with both RAM sticks installed. However, the blue screen error reappeared after about 30 minutes of usage, and this issue repeated similarly for each RAM stick, and it couldn't restart after completing 100% of the error collection.
