Blue screen error

Hi! Just recently I bought Zotac GTX 1080 ti amp extreme edition from. I am having issue with the card. When I am using Nvidia latest drivers I am getting Blue screen error randomly while browsing internet via Google Chrome / Microsoft Edge. I don't get any BSOD while gaming. The error code is SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION, stop code : Nvlddmkm.sys. But when I use older driver like 378.92, I don't get any Blue screen error. So is it a driver problem or graphics card problem. Please help.
PC config:
CPU: i7 7700K
MOTHERBOARD: Z270 Gaming pro carbon (MSI)
GPU: Zotac GTX 1080 ti amp extreme edition
PSU: THERMALTAKE 750 WATT
RAM: 16 GB RAM
OS: WINDOWS 10 version 1703 (OS build 15063.332)

i doubt there is an issue with the card if games aren't causing the blue screen? what games are you running? try running 3dmark firestrike see if it finishes, if it does post results

Thanks for the reply. I am playing Overwatch, Siper Elite 4 and Deus Ex Man kind divided, while gaming I don't get any blue screen only while browsing randomly I am getting it. ok I will post the results soon.

overwatch will put a pretty decent load on the card.. good news is it looks like it is not the card ! please still post firestrike results

Great results, seems its not the card causing this, fresh install of windows is the best place to start

It seems obvious that the driver is causing the issue. If it's running fine on the older driver, use that for a while and wait for the next driver to be released and see how you go with it.

Hi, after updating my mobo bios to the latest version the blue screen error has gone away. No blue screen since last 6 days. I am using the latest version 382.33.
