Over the last few days I've been facing BSOD issues on my Windows 10 machine, the error code says "NMI_HARDWARE_FAILURE".

Here's my minidump file.
https://mega.nz/file/nThkCAxb#x1QdT8ZGkZnSeKM6Td70hfWi1Uhx4hPEM6ics8lKBwA

I've tried the following troubleshooting steps:
  • Updating GPU drivers.
  • Re-installing windows.
  • Re-seated RAM modules.
PC's specifications:
~ Graphics Card: Gigabyte RX570 4GB
~ Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX
~ Processor: Ryzen 5 2600
~ RAM: 2 x DDR4 3000Mhz Corsair Vengeance
~ Hard Drive: Kingston 240GB SSD
~ Windows 10 20H2 (OS Build 19042.804)

I also have two secondary hard drives, a Segate and WD, both are really old 10+ years.

No overclocking enabled.

the process named is often the victim of the crash
this time it appears its killed itself
Jul 16 2019vmci.sysVMware PCI VMCI Bus Device driver
is the driver that caused BSOD.
See if there is an update?

Update Ethernet drivers, 3rd link under windows here -
May 24 2019rt640x64.sysRealtek NICDRV 8169 PCIe GBE Family Controller driver
can't hurt.

Hi, I ran the dump file through the debugger and got the following information: https://jsfiddle.net/L6a92b7k/show This link is for anyone wanting to help. You do not have to view it. It is safe to "run the fiddle" as the page asks.

File information:031221-8281-01.dmp (Mar 12 2021 - 11:09:01)
Bugcheck:NMI_HARDWARE_FAILURE (80)
Driver warnings:*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for vmx86.sys
Probably caused by:memory_corruption (Process: vmware-vmx.exe)
Uptime:0 Day(s), 16 Hour(s), 42 Min(s), and 34 Sec(s)

Possible Motherboard page: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/b450-tomahawk-max
There is a BIOS update available for your system. Wait for additional information before deciding to update or not. Important: Verify that I have linked to the correct motherboard. Updating your BIOS can be risky. Never try it when you might lose power (lightning storms, recent power outages, etc).

This information can be used by others to help you. Someone else will post with more information. Please wait for additional answers. Good luck.

Thanks for the replies folks. I see a process called vmware-vmx.exe listed down, maybe this is an issue caused due to VMWare misbehaving with Windows 10? Haven't have problems with it for a year now but Windows did push an update recently.
