Question Blue screen of death after installing new motherboard

Hay, so yesterday my board arrived then installed. After that I boot up my pc and I can get to the main menu. But when I type my password I get the blue screen of death. Please help guys, I’m an indie dev and need to fix this

Well I had an fx board before

My specs:

Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX X470-F Gaming

CPU: AMD RYZEN 5 2600

OS: WINDOWS 10

Graphics Card: GTX 1060 3GB

You need to reinstall the OS. You can't just do a major hardware swap and expect windows to function properly. It usually doesn't and in the few cases where it actually boots it's plagued with problems.

The best(and in the long run quickest) fix is a clean reinstall followed by recovering data from the backup you took before the upgrade.

I have a question, will I need to buy windows 10 key again or will it be there still.

Did you tie your key to your Microsoft account?

Should be ok then. If you still have the coa then worst case you'll have to call Microsoft.
