Blue Screen Of Death - Help Analysing Error (ntkrnlmp.exe)

Did you check your motherboards web site after installing win 10? Your PC only has 3 drivers loaded

Realtek LAN driver, WIFI Driver, and the Nvidia GPU driver... I know its an older Motherboard but I would have expected more

Did you install the Asorck APP store? Try going here and downloading it, it will check motherboard and confirm you have latest drivers: https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/970%20Extreme3%20R2.0/#Download

updating BIOS may help as well since you are on the release version from 2012 and current version is from 2016. The page shows instructions on how to do it, Don't install the beta bios.


Sure i can do that, however when it happens it just blue screens seamingly at random, so it's very hard to recreate. Sometimes it doesn't happen for hours. Any further thoughts? 😀
 



Thank you, i don't mean to, i was just wanting to keep people informed that this is still an ongoing issue and want to provide people with further information to pin point the issue.
 
I wish I could read them, its on my todo list... someone will look in next few hours and then I will see what the file he creates reveals for you.

I won't guess which error it is as there is about 600 codes.. many are uncommon though.

ntkrnlmp.exe = NT Kernel Multi Processor... it is part of windows and crucial, but it alone doesn't tell me enough about the error. It often gets blamed for driver errors as it is the thing that crashed, but not the actual cause

Thank you for these response, so since i last posted in here, i have removed the one drive application.

It probably isn't the cause of the blue screens but i wasn't using the application anyway.

I have went to the Asorck App Store and i have downloaded the drivers as you guys suggested.

I will keep you informed if this blue screen issue occurs again.

I had a problem with drivers some time ago, came here for help. I ended up using the DriverBooster 4. (you can download it for free) It does not install anything extra. If you don't want to update drivers using this software, i suggest you still run it and see what it reports to be outdated. Then you can go to google, google the driver for it and do it manually.

 


Iv'e updated the Motherboard drivers and used the built in Windows 10 app to check for updates and things. I can't update anything more.

If i get another BSOD i will be sure to message here. Currently today i haven't had one.
