Blue screen of death help!

Im new to this website, so im not sure if im posting in the right section, but my network adapter recently stopped working.I was using a usb adapter and thats what caused the drivers to fail. i already tried re-installing the drivers before the BSOD started happening. But now my pc will only boot up to the password input screen before the BSOD pops up. any ideas?

Which version of Windows do you have? If its windows 7
Boot into safe mode, keep pressing the f8 at computer power on and select safe mode
Login to windows from here
Open cmd (or you can open device manager, uninstall your wireless adapter drivers from here and reboot normally. )

Type in
Rstrui.exe

This opens system restore.
Do a system restore and choose a restore point to the day before this started happening

Ive already tried going into safe-mode, when i do it will just load the "starting up windows" logo. Then my account will show up prompting to enter my password. 4-5 seconds after that the BSOD pops up.

Alright so what you can try is booting up your PC, pressing the f8 key and select "use last good known configuration"

Or select system repair from that menu, and do a system restore

ok so ive managed to get it working in safe mode. after going into device manager the only thing with a caution symbol on it is AMDA00 which would be the motherboard.

Right click that device, and disable it. Reboot and see if it can boot normally into windows again

You could even try a system restore before doing that step

Tried that and didnt boot up in normal or safe mode.

By that I mean the F8-system repair-system restore

theres no option for system restore, just "select boot device". after selecting the ssd it will just go with the safe mode options.

You sure the 1 is in front? It should be usb3xhc.sys

Have you removed this USB adapter?

yeah there's a 1 in front. and the USB adapter is not in.

Hmm odd, 1usb3xhc.sys doesnt exist in Google. So, either it's dodgy or something has renamed it.

Could be why it crashed. Because the system is expecting to find usb3xhc.sys

Well i figured it out, all i did was have nothing plugged into the usb ports at the front lol. something so simple causing so much trouble. still weird when i uninstalled the usb adapter and that made the bsod come up in the middle of the uninstall.

so how would i uninstall this faulty usb 3 drive? there are no errors popping up in device manager.
