Hello!

I have a laptop Asus S500CA running Windows 10, but for a long time I've been getting BSODs and can't figure why. Sometimes with the computer just on, but not running anything heavy, I get them, or sometimes while using it. I tried to fix it before, tested memory, the new SSD I put (the BSODs are from even before upgrading it).

They sometimes have different messages, but usually is always the same thing: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA ntoskrnl.exe

I've read posts here and on other forums about this and it seems to be the Intel Driver, but Asus website doesn't have the updated driver, neither does Intel's website. Is there something I can do? I installed the tool "who crashed it" and I am attaching a screenshot too, just in case.

Thank you for your help!

can you go to c:\windows\minidump
copy the contents of folder to another folder
upload the minidumps from the new folder to a file sharing web site and show a link here, I will ask someone to convert the files for me

Do you have latest bios?

NTOSKRNL = windows kernel. It handles all driver requests, power management, and memory management. It sits between Hardware and Applications. It got blamed but its not the cause

Here's the link to the minidump file: https://mega.nz/#!NZtUhaqD

Thank you

website required a decrypt key for the file

Sorry, I picked the wrong link: https://mega.nz/#!NZtUhaqD!q100A-IFJFDbshUjSEQa5fgKeI1qXkZLvpQCD7QgvGc

looks like some service was running and tried to access the system registry but caused a problem with security.
I would look to see if you have a old service running. maybe something associated with this very old windows 7 RTM driver:
C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\ATK Package\ATKGFNEX\ASMMAP64.sys Thu Jul 2 02:13:26 2009 (remove)
or this one:
\C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\ATK Package\ATK WMIACPI\atkwmiacpi64.sys Tue Jul 2 01:35:32 2013

also seems to be something wrong with
WSDPrint.sys (Web Services Print Device Driver)

if you are running a key server from hacking software you might want to scan for malware and check your task scheduler to scheduled tasks that might run malware.

MACHINE INFO:
BIOS Version S500CA.204
BIOS Starting Address Segment f000
BIOS Release Date 02/05/2013

Manufacturer ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.
Product S500CA
Version 1.0

I uninstalled the driver of the ATK package. But the second problem, I don't have a key server from hacking software or anything like that. As antivirus I only use Windows Defender, should I invest in another one like Norton or Eset, or isn't that necessary? Also, I will check the task schedule. Thanks!

Hey, so yesterday I was using the computer and out of the nowhere there it is again the blue screen, but this time it said memory management, according to that software who crashed it? it said again that it was Windows kernel. What should I do? Already uninstantiated everything you said above and even bought a version a bitdefender, just in case! Thanks!
