I am currently dealing with a blue screen of death. There have been a couple of error codes that I have recorded. The codes have been System_service_exception, kmode_exception_not_handled, system_thread_exception_not_handled. I'm unsure of what to do at this point. Doing some googling I have seen to it was caused by a corrupted ram which I have tested, outdated drivers, and hard drive based which also of the options I have tested and made sure that they weren't the case. That being said my brother and I have almost identical custom computer builds. Out of thought, I swapped out hard drives to see if it would have maybe been a hardware issue. We had kept the hard drives swapped for about a week and not once did a BSOD occurs for me. Thinking the problem may have resolved itself, I swapped them back, played some games for a bit and not even 40 minutes in I got a BSOD. Please help.

Can you follow option one on the following link - here
and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD

that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD
copy that file to documents
upload the copy from documents to a cloud server and share the link here and I will get someone to convert file into a format I can read

Wasn't sure how to do what you described but I uploaded it to mediafire and got a download link. Hope you're able to download it and do something with it. https://www.mediafire.com/file/afxy0y1traccu8t/110318-5109-01.dmp/file

Hi, I ran the dump file through the debugger and got the following information: https://pste.eu/p/ksab.html

File: 110318-5109-01.dmp (Nov 3 2018 - 23:38:04)
BugCheck: [SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (3B)]
Probably caused by: memory_corruption (Process: Discord.exe)
Uptime: 0 Day(s), 2 Hour(s), 59 Min(s), and 47 Sec(s)

The overclocking driver "IOCBios2.sys" was found on your system.

BIOS information was not included in the dump file. This can sometimes mean an outdated BIOS is being used.

I can't help you with this. Wait for additional replies. Good luck.

remove this driver
SiLib.sys Tue Feb 6 15:13:54 2007

(you will want to also remove the overclock driver, and update the bios, and motherboard drivers if you can)

you can download and run autoruns from here and find the silib.sys driver, delete the driver entry so it does not load then reboot.
the driver most likely is not the cause of this bugcheck but it should not be installed.
the bugcheck is more likely due to the overclock driver. best to remove the overclock driver and see if you still get a bugcheck.

system was running for 3 hours

For my motherboard I have a ASUS M5A97 r2.0, GPU - GTX 970 FTW+ , CPU - AMD FX 8350. My bios version is 2603. I have updated my bios a couple days ago and don't believe my bios is the reason. I'll check the realtek LAN drivers. Maybe overclocking issue aswell. If so, how do you think I should approach this?

Colif said that driver was used by my corsair products. I feel like they shouldn't be causing a problem. I have been using discord for numerous years now and not sure why that'd be the cause of the crash.

I blame discord crashing on the lan drivers, its why i wondered about them. Up until a few days ago you could go to a Realtek web site and download their drivers but I get a 404 on it now

Your installed drivers are newer than whats on asus web site, and what shows on the Microsoft Download catalog.

See if this driver helps. I normally suggest using makers web site burr every realtek web site I try is getting a 404 and Asus no longer supports motherboard with updates - https://www.techspot.com/downloads/drivers/essentials/realtek-pcie-lan/

Realtek made a new website, you now have to go here and hunt for the drivers:
https://www.realtek.com/en/downloads

here are the network drivers:

Will do! I'll keep you posted. So I downloaded the drivers, restarted my computer and still got a bsod not even 10 minutes after loading up my game again. Idk what's up with this.
