Blue screen of death when transferring to SSD

So I got a new SSD to replace my old HDD. I used some software to clone the HDD files to the SSD (The SSD is bigger than the HDD so I didn't need to mess with the files).
I restarted my PC and changed the SSD to the primary boot drive in the BIOS. The computer loaded and I signed only to receive the windows blue screen.

What did I do wrong? Any help appreciated.

Sorry for the lack of information, I wasn't really sure what to put.

The SSD model I'm using is a SanDisk SSD PLUS 240GB
My current OS is Windows 7 Home Premium
The software I used to clone is called Macrium Reflect

May I just quickly ask if the method of trying to transfer the data correct or did I miss out a step?

Since you can boot from the SSD, then I presume that you cloned the HDD correctly; cloning should work as long as the cloning software is SSD aware. Did you disconnect the HDD when testing the cloned SSD? Are the SSD and HDD connected to the same SATA controller? It may sound like a stupid question, but you gave no info about your system and it could have more than one SATA controller.
