After updating to W10 Anniversary update a couple weeks ago I cannot render a video in Camtasia or Sony Vegas pro 13.

Halfway through rendering my computer freezes and then Bam! BSOD. This seems to be the only time I get BSOD. Other

than one other time the other day it happened while trying to format a thumb drive.

If someone could please help me out with this Id greatly appreciate it! will reply immediately. thanks :bubbles:

can you download and run who crashed: http://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed
it will give us a suammry of the bsod you getting and might show what caused it

Copy/paste results in here

Can you also follow option one here: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5560-bsod-minidump-configure-create-windows-10-a.html
and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD

that creates a file in c/windows/minidump
copy that file to documents
upload the copy from documents to a cloud server and share the link here and someone with right software to read them will help you fix it :)

Conclusion
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

9 crash dumps have been found and analyzed. No offending third party drivers have been found. Connsider using WhoCrashed Professional which offers more detailed analysis using symbol resolution. Also configuring your system to produce a full memory dump may help you.

Read the topic general suggestions for troubleshooting system crashes for more information.

Note that it's not always possible to state with certainty whether a reported driver is responsible for crashing your system or that the root cause is in another module. Nonetheless it's suggested you look for updates for the products that these drivers belong to and regularly visit Windows update or enable automatic updates for Windows. In case a piece of malfunctioning hardware is causing trouble, a search with Google on the bug check errors together with the model name and brand of your computer may help you investigate this further.

do the dump file tomorrow as it will help more than who crashed

Clock watchdog timeout and WHEA errors are hardware errors relating to CPU so check if you have latest bios & motherboard drivers, it doesn't look like you are overclocked. Maybe check fans are working and clean inside case

MERGED QUESTION
Question from negligentgamer : "BSOD When rendering With Camtasia"

I have a cheap RCA Cambio Windows 10 32 bit anniversary update, Intel 1.83 GHz quad core processor, 32 GB hardrive. Yeah its a piece of crap in theory but It can Render Videos just fine it obviously takes a bit longer than I would like but my 2500$ dollar computer BSOD's every time I render video after the Anniversary Update.

What could be the problem. I have been on forum after forum with no resolution. The problem can't be that serious if my little cheapo tablet/laptop can function without blue screening.

Please someone can you help me?

Great News! I just installed the new "Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3189866)."

Literally an hour ago before I got the update I tried rendering a few videos for bleeps and giggles only to be greeted by the same ol' BSOD

immediately after installing the update I tried to render another video again for even more bleeps and giggles and No Blue Screen! The Video rendered quickly and completed!

First time since the Ann. Update.

My problems with rendering all began in first place with the Windows Anniversary update so maybe hopefully this Cumulative Update fixed the problem...Fingers crossed :bananas:
