BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH

That's the error I get. Anyone know what's causing this? This is not the first time this happened so that is why I am posting on here. This is a custom built computer by the way so I can't contact customer service.

99% of the time BSOD's are caused by memory or power supply.

Check the bios to make sure the memory speed, timing and voltage are set correctly. You can also run Memtest86 to test the memory.

If you have 2 rams, try removing one of them and check if you get the BSOD. If not, then you have your answer there.

I can't really check for bsods by removing memories since these bsods happen every like once in 3 months

He said that I should remove memory to test out the problem but the bsods happen every like once in 3 months so I can't really find out by removing memory. I did not say that I can't perform a basic memory test.

I just noticed something. When I go to computer and right click to go to properties the ram shows up as 5.99 not 6. Is this normal?

Well i changed my ram slot(moved the ram stick to the other slot) and the problem was gone.
