[SOLVED] Blue screen of death

Hello i was playing a game and i beat the game so i closed it and opened steam type my username and password in clicked login and the second i clicked login my pc blue screen and so i let it restart and it was just boot looping saying preparing automatic repair so i look up a youtube vid and he said go to cmd type in c: then type in dir and it should show all your program files folder and the windows folder well i did that and mine had nothing so i think all my files got deleted i dont know what to do please help

Yes but a bsod should not cause all my files to get deleted including the Os
