I have recently bought a new graphics card ( and a new case to fit the card in) i removed the old drivers put the new card in, tried to install new drivers and every time i try to do that using AMD catalyst, i get a blue screen and it crashes. i get a message saying it is transferring data to the physical memory the blue screen doesnt stay on long enough for me to get a code.
it doesnt crash when just browsing the web and it doesnt crash in safe mode (but i cant install the drivers in safe mode)
I have done a memory test and the no errors were found.
i don't believe it is the PSU being overloaded as it blue screens when using my old cards and running the program and blue screens using the onboard graphics.
The only solution i can think of is doing a clean install of windows 7.
OS: Windows 7 64bit
PSU: Corsair CX600
Motherboard: Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3
CPU: AMD FX6300
Graphics card: (Old ASUS HD 6670) (New Radeon R9 290)
RAM: 2 x 4gb sport Crucial GDDR3
