I started having this issue recently (2 days ago) and is seems that whenever I watch videos (youtube, downloaded movies, web page videos etc) I get the blue screen of death. Now whats funny is that it doesnt occur when I am doing anything else such as gaming, surfing the internet...I dont really think it is a hardware issue because my pc is relatively new (9 months old).I also noticed I get the blue screen while installing games.Maybe there is one more thing I should mention but it might just be a coincidence.I bought a new monitor 2 days ago and it started when I started using the new monitor.I tried unplugging this new one and plugging in the old one and it still crashed.I don't know what to do, this is very irritating. My specs are: i5 4690k (stock, no oc), gtx 970 msi 4gb, 2x4 crucial ballistix RAM, gigabyte z97x gaming 5, cooler master 600w modular

Solution
there are hundreds of bugcheck codes each with their own error codes.
you have to copy the memory dump files from c:\windows\minidump directory to a server like microsoft onedrive, share the files as public and post a link.

otherwise, you would go to your motherboard vendors website and update the BIOS, and motherboard drivers to see if that helps.
(most common generic fix for these problems, and cheapest first attempt at a repair)
