Blue screen

i've installed windows xp pro but when i start the computer up it just brings
up a blue screen i can't even load windows nothiong is happening

Can anyone help me?

Andrew, did the installation complete? Are you upgrading from another
Operating System? Did you do a hardware and
software compatibility check for WinXP.
