Blue Screen

Hello,

Firstly i am a newbie in computers..I have a problem from sometime regarding my pc..i am frequently getting blue screen errors and my pc crashes out randomly.. Please tell me how to attach and access dump files.. I've tried almost everything... Formatted, Updated Drivers, Removed hardware and tried seperately but it still exists..

My pc config
AMD Athlon II X2 250 - 3Ghz
ASUS M2N68 AM Motherboard
TRANSCEND 800Mhz DDR2 RAM - 2gb
SEAGATE HDD - 500GB
NVIDIA 9400GT 1GB GRAPHICS CARD (ZOTAC IS THE VENDOR)

but did you leave the other RAM in when you did.?
what size RAM sticks are you using.

see, your getting memory errors so that is the problem.
we just got to figure out an optimal fix becuase your going to have to get RAM($)..

I was using 2GB Transcend RAM before... Then again used 1GB Kingston RAM seperately.. Got the same problem 🙁

Rest the BIOS of your mobo, remove and install the GPU again. If u have the same problem I think that the mobo has a problem.

^^ As i have a Asus Mobo ..shall i use the Asus Update software to update my Mobo to a recent version?? or it is better to reset it?? (Reset Process plzz)

Can u confirm is you CPU is the Athlon II X2 250e? You can check that with CPU-Z.

Yes it is AMD II X2 250 3ghz processor

it says at first that you only have 2GB running, how much do you have right now and what's the configuration.?

using win 7 64bit... RAM is 2GB Transcend 800Mhz...

for one with 64-bit you need to me 4GB and since you have a 2GB stick,
the best thing is to buy 1 more stick of the exact same RAM and have 4GB(2x2GB) and run them in dual channel mode..

Stepping is 2 and Revision is DA-C2

Do you mean to say that 64-bit OS requires 4GB or Ram?!
