Question Blue screens and crashes when using xmp i think

specs:
-rtx 2080ti
-i9 9900k
-16gb 4266mhz trident z ram
-z390 aorus master
-850w 80+ gold rated
Problem:
i keep getting blue screens sometimes on desktop but most the time during in game not too long in, i noticed this when using the xmp profile so 4266mhz as instead of it 2133mhz, i want to use full potential of my ram. i get the stop code: irql_not_less_or_equal
ive tried reseating ram sverealy times and several soloutions found online.
i have also double checked my mobo can support 4266mhz ram which it can actually up to 4400mhz...

Not all RAM overclocks the same.
If you're just enabling an XMP profile, I'd maybe try manipulating the settings manually as XMP may be over or underestimating voltages for example.

According to other site for your RAM, may try to set the RAM timing manually, like they said: 1.35V for 4266mhz at
19-23-23-42 by going into the BIOS.

We could only achieve DDR4-4133 with that motherboard, so most likely needs an update before it can support higher.

Is the system stable once DRAM Frequency is lowered to say DDR4-4000 or lower? If not, test each module individually to see if one performs differently. It is possible a module is bad and causing problems.

well it hasnt crashed when using its default setting of 2133mhz

Try to use 4000mhz like gskill support said, if you can run the PC stable, and either run it at 4000mhz, or try out 4133mhz. If you can't run the PC at 4000mhz, then low to 3866mhz.
