Blue Screens of Death after clean system installation

Hello,
I am having an ongoing problem with my computer. Ever since I upgraded my computer with extra 4gb of ram, I had many issues. At first, I couldn't boot it up, but after taking out cmos battery it worked. Then, I had numerous bsods with errors saying memory management and irql less or not equal. I checked new ram several times with the memory diagnostic tool and no issues. I decided to do a clean vista install but that didn't help. Now I get a bsod without any error messages. Please help!
My pc specs are:
Vista Basic 64bit
asus m3a78-cm motherboard
8gb Ram
500gb sata hard drive
amd anthlon x2 5000+ 2.60 GHz
it is a custom built pc

Sounds like you may be having driver conflicts. Have you went through and updated all your drivers to your motherboard. Have you checked to see if there were any bios updates?

I did install the basic drivers included on the disk, I did see updates for the motherboard but didn't know how to update from .rom files

I did check it and nothing helpful there. Plus, I just got a memory management bsod again

then i would do a memory test with memtest one stick at the time http://www.memtest.org/ i use the 4.20 usb installer at the bottom of the page .

I did already with one stick and all four at the same time. I also updated my motherboard yesterday and I'm downloading service pack 2. Let's see if these two things help out

if you still have crashing after the sp2 install use this to see if there some minidump files in the system this sofware read them and give a plain report http://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed

I wasn't even able to install sp2, because it gave me many errors with different programs shutting down randomly. I ended up dropping my pc at the local repair shop to see what is happening. Thank you guys for helping though

@lukasz0807, your initial post says it all. Your problems started after you added RAM. That's where the problem lies. The RAM you added is either faulty or mismatched to what was already present. Though there is the faint possibility that there is a fault on the motherboard.

I got it back and he said one of four ram slots was faulty but not ram itself. He also said there was some corrupted files on the hard drive. I went back home and two hours into installing several programs I got system service exception bsod along with page fault in nonpaged area. I gave it back to him and he kept running benchmarks for three days straight with no errors or bsod. I got it back today and less than 20 minutes later, another bsod. I thought it could be my webcam drivers causing all this since I had some issues with it before, but uninstalling software and unplugging it didn't help.

ram slot is faulty that means the motherboard is defective and if that board is under warranty ask for rma ,how did you set the ram does it work in dual channel see the motherboard user manual how to set them .for the webcam try to update your driver check all with windows update .

I bought it from ibuypower.com in 2009 so warranty is expired now. He set up ram for me, im using three sticks out of four so dual channel is off.

Nope, he left it the way it was at 3x2gb. He said I can put bigger sticks if I wanted to but the motherboard supports up to 8gb of ram so 6gb is enough for me. PC is still gets bsods at random moments so I gave up on doing anything on it at the moment.

keep it for now ,you could start looking for new parts when you will be ready to get a new system .
