Blue Screens of Death

Hello all,
I've tried several different fixes at this point (PC Doctor, deinstalling multiple programs I had installed in the last two weeks, cleaning up the hardrive, running defrag, checking my processor temps) and haven't found anything to say that my computer is having trouble.

EXCEPT: The harddrive scan in BIOS said I have an error, and I continue to get Blue Screens (of death) at random times (no warning, no real change to system I can tell)

I installed BlueScreenView.exe but have not been able to get a recent dump file (last one was 12.29.2010)

I'm at the end of the road for knowing what to do next other than replace the harddrive, reinstall everything from scratch and update drivers to new once the reinstall is complete.

Thoughts, help, prayers anybody?

Hard drive failure can cause BSOD. Bad memory too. I suggest getting a new drive and see it solves the problem. Drives nowadays are cheap.

I also tried sfc/scannow --> It didn't find anything of consequence.

The error codes I keep getting from the BSOD are:
STOP: 0x0000007F (0X000000000000008, 0x0000000000080050031, 0x00000000000000000006F8, 0x0FFFFF80002ECDDA2)
and other final parameter codes after the 80002.

I've got a new drive on my desk right now, I just wanted to check if I hadn't tried something that I needed to before going the fresh install route.
