Hello, recently I bought a blue snowball ice mic off of my friend that uses it on a different OS than I do Im using it on windows 7 and he used it on windows 8 or 10 but every time I plug in the mic it goes to a blue screen and then shuts off and wont turn back on until I unplug the mic. Is there any fixes?

Can try all usb ports.Maybe you use one controlled by a third party controller or try usb 3.0 if present and haven't done yet.

Can see if old drivers from another mic are present, delete those, look at the device manager.Maybe it even clashes with the sounddrivers from the motherboard, can try and delete those, see if that helps.

Also googled and found some vids/tutorials to make that mic work with W7,

the "Noob tube" explains why,can start with his one.

If this is a driver issue that just won't go away are you abit...
