I know there's a lot of similar issues on the web about this, but I have a particular issue that no one else seems to have.

1. Connecting the Snowball will try to install 3 drivers:

2. However, the Snowball disappears after ~10 seconds and is replaced by another driver (USB Audio Class 1.0 & 2.0...):

3. The device still shows up in "Devices and Printers"; troubleshoot doesn't work. None of the drivers can be troubleshooted or updated.

5. The really weird bit is that when I uninstall the 3 drivers and unplug my device, "Unknown device" will INSTALL when I unplug the USB. Maybe that's the culprit. Maybe not.

If someone could give some advice, I'd appreciate it a lot.

Currently, I've sent an email for support to the company. Maybe it's a hardware issue and I could get an RMA.

Most mic's are PNP but in your case you might want to look for a driver. The windows drivers are kind of junk for this kind of stuff I would suggest finding the problem drivers through hardware IDS hold windows key + R and type in devmgmt.msc then go to the device with the ? or the device you are having problems with and right click properties>details>Go to compatible hardware IDS or hardware IDS copy and paste the first choice that you see into google and it should find you the most up to date driver or at least give you info on where to find it.
