Blue snowball not working...

So I've had this mic for a while, no problems. Now, when I plug it in, the light turns on, and no error, right? windows says its unplugged and skype/teamspeak doesnt recognize a mic. does anyone know what happened?

1| Can you please pass on your full system's specs inclusive of your OS?
2| Have you made sure your BIOS is up to date?
3| Often times a new device might take some time to install the necessary drivers. On another note, when going into Device Manager, can you see any USB device flagged with a yellow exclamation mark? Right click to remove it and see if the second time it installs recovers the product's visibility in Device Manger.
4| Assuming you're on Windows 10, did you disable automatic device driver updates?
