Hi guys. I'm scared because I think I messed up my new build. I had no problems before (yesterday after I finished building my computer) but today I keep getting bluescreens. I'm trying to reinstall windows 7 from a usb but it says that "I don't have the drivers". I had no problems before with my copy of win 7 and installing it from the usb. My biggest concern though is the cpu, I think I broke it installing it by repositioning too many times (trying to find the correct position). Maybe it's just a sowftware problem or the cpu is dead (I'm not a pro a pc building or fixing) please let me know what could be the cause if this and any possible solutions. In the mean while I'm going to try and make another usb bootable device. As a note if I go to the bios set up I can see the cpu settings and the temp is normal.

Solution
new build make sure the mb has the newest bios file. make sure ram set to xmp profile and is set to the right ram speed. usb sticks want post in the black usb 2.0 ports. if your windows iso is old then it looking for the intel chipset drivers for the new mb. download them then extract the files to the windows iso usb stick. go into advance mode click on add drivers and point to the windows chipset and mei drivers. also use it to install the ethernet and sound drivers.
