Hi
Today, my computer started to get extremely slow, (CPU at ~20% with small spikes at 100%), to the point that even moving a window would take several minutes. And at some point, I couldn't even restart the computer without having to manually press the restart button on the computer.
Then the startup would take a really really long time, like 15-20 minutes...
I tried to fix the problem, but I don't know why, I didn't have any restoration point saved... and after having to reboot 3 times (every time: 15-20 minutes wait), I decided it needed to try and reinstall windows 10.
I tried doing that directly from windows, and asked for the version where you lose all programs but keep your files. It took about half an hour with a message saying it was uninstalling my stuff, before the computer restarted. And got stuck on a black screen after a few minutes with the windows logo and the rotating dots.
Thing is, I had just installed windows 10 (previously running windows 7) a few weeks ago, so I still had a USB drive with a bootable windows 10, that I knew was working on that computer before. So I tried it, and when booting from there, it gets stuck on a blue screen with nothing but the mouse pointer...
I tried redownload a bootable windows on the same USB from another computer, and still the same blue screen.
I'm starting to wonder if it could be a hardware problem?
I have a Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H motherboard, with i5 3570k OC to 4.2Ghz, and a GTX970 (not that I think it could be GPU related...)
Thanks in advance for your help!
