Hello,
Need some assistance in connecting a pair of B&O H9i Headphones to a Samsung with Android 11 via bluetooth.
After enabling bluetooth the headset is visible, however can't connect to it, get a message " An app is needed to use this device".
So I install the B&O app, it downloads some software update to the headsets. The app says connected, and I can enable or disable ANC and transparency from the app.
I can't see the headset connected in Settings>Connections>Bluetooth after the app says it's connected.
The app has a list of radio stations, however they all play through the phone's speaker. All media with plays through the phone's speaker.
When using the headset through the 3.5mm jack there is audio.
The controls on the right earcup for ANC and transparecy work, with or without the app.
The instructions in the leaflet that came with the set say you don't need the app. Tried to follow them but they don't work, they involve connecting the headset without the app.
I'm confused what the problem is.
Edit: B&O's support doesn't have a clue.
