Bluetooth devices get disconnected after switching off the device after windows 10 update

After updating windows my bluetooth speakers and headphones have to be paired again each time after switching the speaker off. No matter what they wont get automatically connected

Bluetooth is still a little quirky for me, even though it's been around a number of years. I just leave my speakers on all the time but still have to fiddle with power off/on every few weeks. I didn't notice any change with the last update a month ago or the subsequent update either though.

Same problem. I went through six different USB bluetooth adapter's before I found one that stopped crackling if I tilted my head
