Question Bluetooth disappeared

Computer is an Acer Nitro 50-110. Bluetooth disappeared from Device Manager. There is a Unknown Device under Other Devices. However, no switch in Settings. Updated Bluetooth drivers. Still nothing. Bought a new 5.1 Bluetooth Adapter but, despite multiple USB ports, all I get is a message that drivers found but it won't install them. Windows Bluetooth troubleshooter tells me there is no Bluetooth on my computer. Acer says there is. Tried all the "helps" online with do success. Anyone else have this problem?

I have had a Wi-Fi Bluetooth card go bad and had to replace it.

I had an issue with a PC that did similar to what you mention and ended up having to do a clean install to rectify it.
