My Bluetooth USB adapter came today and had no installation DVD.

My PC instantly recognised it and I was able to connect it to my phone, so I'm assuming everything works.

But since I don't have a DVD, how would I update the drivers if need be?

Do I even need to update anything or will it continue working in its current state without needing additional driver installation?

USB 2 dongle - http://au.orico.cc/goods.php?id=6004
uses this chipset - https://www.qualcomm.com/products/csr8510
Drivers called CSR Harmony Wireless Software Stack

The drivers should be on the dongle.

also chance the win 10 drivers are actually relabelled win 7 drivers and may not have been submitted to win 10 for signatures and therefor don't work now. Its a problem I see a lot with USB 2 WiFi devices, the best solution is buy a new USB 3 one that supports Win 10 and doesn't also support Win XP.

Software appears to be from 2010.

Usually you should download any drivers from the support homepage of the manufacturer for any device you need a driver for

some features might only be usable with updated drivers, but can work with the default windows driver as well.
Bluetooth dongles usually don´t have additional drivers since windows 8 and are plug and play compatible

I have an Orico BTA-403, on their website, there is a link to the drivers but when I click it, this happens.

When I go on their official website and look for the exact model there I am able to download the driver but it doesn't support Windows 10 for some reason:

What I'm asking is if installing drivers is necessary if the dongle works on its own?

The thing is, this one literally arrived today. It's working fine so I'm assuming the driver are on it. If something should go wrong I'll refer to the links you gave. Thanks.
