Question Bluetooth failed to remove, can no longer connect to headphones

I've recently become unable to use my Bluetooth both from my motherboard and USB dongle. The Bluetooth in my motherboard was always laggy, so that's why I bought an Asus bt500.
I've recently not been able to connect to my Sony headphones(WH-1000XM3), I've tried updating their drivers, the drivers of my USB dongle, and I've also completely remove the drivers from the device manager for the headphones, but they still show up in the Bluetooth & devices menu and when i try to remove the from their it says 'failed remove'.

List of things I've tried:
- Update Bluetooth drivers(both headphone and dongle)
- Uninstall headphones from device manager(even hidden devices)
- Uninstall Bluetooth drivers
- Use a different Bluetooth dongle(TP-LINK UB500)
- Run Bluetooth troubleshooter
- Run sfc /scannow

Any help is appreciated.
