Hi,
Though my problem is similar to a few other threads, I feel it is different enough to post a new three
I have recently purchased the Samsung Level U and paired it with my 5 month old Dell 5570.
I could hear some distortion when playing youtube or other videos on the laptop.
To solve this issue, I installed the latest driver for the bluetooth hardware through Windows Update. There didn't seem to be any significant improvement. However, after a few hours of use after the update, the device stopped working and I could not find the bluetooth icon in the taskbar or the device manager.
Further, I observed that the hardware showed up in the device manager when I checked the \show hidden devices' option. But this did not solve anything.
As recommended in the Microsoft forums, I uninstalled the device and rebooted the system expecting the OS to reinstall the drivers. But no such thing happened on the reboot and all attempts to scan for hardware changes did not result in the bluetooth reappearing.
I tried to use the bluetooth troubleshooter in the OS, but it simply says that the hardware does not exist in the laptop.
Hope someone can post a solution
