Question Bluetooth headphones sound balance

Hi everyone,

Not sure what category to put this thread in butttt..

I bought a USB bluetooth 4.0 adapter for my computer to connect my Airpods. Now i'm a little deaf on my right ear.. and want to adjust the balance.
I know where I can find the balance but it says 1/2 and not L/R and when I adjust 1 then 2 goes along and vice versa too. So my problem is that I cannot adjust them individually

How do I fix this?

It may be because you are using Bluetooth and separate balance levels for the two channels is not supported on that adapter.
You may have to settle for using wired headphones instead.

Try setting the balance before you connect your headphones.. Another fix is to go to your bluetooth adapter in device manager and see if you can roll back the driver. FYI the blue tooth adapter is hidden. Go to View at the top and click show hidden devices.

Another possible fix is to create a profile. Go to Device Manager>Sounds. Click on the headphone device and click Properties. Add a name in parenthesis in front of "headphones" ; eg "Headphones (christaa)". Now check levels and the balance tab. You should be able to adjust the balance levels.
