Hello everyone

I'll start off with the system specs
MOBO: Asrock Z77e-itx + wifi module (edit: Atheros AR9002WB-1NG Wireless Network Adapter)
CASE: Cooler master elite 130
CPU: Intel I7-2600 - stock cooler
GPU: Radeon HD6950 - stock settings
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB
PSU: OCZ+ 750W (all the info i have about it)

I can't seem to find any answers anywhere.
According to my system specs i should not have bluetooth, yet device manager shows a bluetooth device and installs drivers, after which the device is stopped because it's not responding.

This seems to interfere with an external bluetooth stick in some way, i can't connect to anything, most important is my logitech K380.

After removing drivers through device manager, and checking hardware configuration it installs the drivers again, they seem to give no problem for 10-20 seconds after which the device errors out for not responding.

My questions are as follows
- Do, or do I not have built in bluetooth (i don't think so but i could have missed it?)
A: If so, how can i fix the device which is being stopped because it doesn't respond?
B: If not, how do i get rid of windows thinking i do?
- Is my K380 keyboard compatible with windows 7?

Things i've tried
- Removing all bluetooth software and reboot for new windows drivers
- Drivers from assrock website for the wifi card, just in case it was in the same chip
- Driver booster, which also seems to think there was bluetooth but an incorrect driver
- Disabling the device in device manager and using an external bluetooth USB
- Disabling bluetooth and wifi (just in case again)
- Manually installing microsoft bluetooth stack with an exe file instead of automaticly
- Checking for problems in 'devices and printers'
- Googling my issues
- "sighing" at my pc (ofcourse this didn't help but you never know)

This sums up my issue, hope someone can help. If i forgot to include something, let me know and i'll add it.

I did install the wifi module, but it's not in use.
It came included with the motherboard and the motherboard states there is no bluetooth, just wifi.

At least from what i can find.

It crossed my mind, hence I checked again and again before posting. Can't find anything that points towards this card having bluetooth.
Did come across an assrock mobo chart that checked this motherboard as not having bluetooth. I imagine this would be the case because the wifi card comes with the board hence the specs should mention the specs of this card.
Because it states wifi, but not bluetooth, i'm thinking it shouldn't be there.

This is the included card according to Speccy.
Atheros AR9002WB-1NG Wireless Network Adapter

I have found this document, but it's about AR9002WB-1NGCD compared to my product which is the AR9002WB-1NG.
Can't find anything that points me in the direction of these 2 being the same device.

The following link states it has no bluetooth
http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/asrock-z77e-itx-motherboard/

But in the end it's installing bluetooth drivers over and over again.

since there is no details from 2011, I assumed it was the same card, which from scattered details it is not your right, its a 2.4ghz card only not dual, my apologies.

I read a lot of issues with that older Wi-Fi card... maybe its time to simply upgrade it (easy as 2 screws and your done) and get a 5GHZ band wifi that supports Bluetooth for real like the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 2x2 Network plus Bluetooth adapter (7260.HMWWB.R) they run about 25-26$ on amazon and eBay, and intel still supports it. Newegg has a 3rd party selling through them for 33$ here are the details

Have been looking for new cards, mainly for the integrated bluetooth and the occasional wifi usage that might come one day. I have no USB 2 ports to spare so integrated is kind of a must.

They seem hard to find though, living in Belgium is a total nightmare for pc parts, all i can do is rely on webshops from the Netherlands, and even those have limited stock and mostly just the main parts.

Found some but none that were up to date or reasonably priced. But the one you just mentioned is available when directly searching for it. I'll keep it in mind, it's 40.50€ and a little expensive for what it is.

Found it on amazon.de/nl for less, not sure if all costs are included.

I'll keep this thread for a couple more days, untill i find some time to take the card out and see if that was the problem.

Thanks for your time.
