I bought a bluetooth mouse from factory direct, plugged it in and it connects fine and i would be able to use it until i stop for abit and itll stop working, i would have to remove the bluetooth adapter and pair it again. After the 4th time i noticed that once i paired it, it showed the icon that its connected.

Ill use it for abit then stop and disconnects again, i looked in "devices and printers" in control panel, and the mouse is no longer connected.

Is there a way to fix this?

Do you see the window with five tabs?

General, Driver, Details, Events, and the next is (or should be) Power Management.

There is also a box labeled "Device Status"

You can also try right clicking on an open spot on your desktop. Could be a dedicated control panel for mouse somewhere.

Right clicking the mouse icon in Device and Print Manager may find the screen.

Make sure that you have disabled/removed the 2.4G wireless mouse.

Will add another thought. Have you tried replacing the batteries in the bluetooth mouse? Even if the mouse came with new batteries those batteries are probably not all that good.

theres only 3 tabs when i open properties, general, driver and details. but i have found the problem. I decided to try different usb ports because the bluetooth adapter i was using were plugged into the usb ports on the left side of my laptop, tried both top and bottom, then decided to try the ports on the right side and ive been using it all day with no disconnecting :). Thanks for your help
