bluetooth keyboard appears to be blocking wifi reception on windows tablet

Turning on the Bluetooth keyboard diminishes WiFi reception to unusable. Tuning off keyboard restores reception. Help!

This is a common occurance given that WiFi and Bluetooth occupy the same RF spectrum. Not a whole lot you can do other than try changing the WiFi channel.
