Blurry monitor after installing new gpu

After i installed a new graphics card (R9 270), my display starts to look more blurry, like before i installed the gpu the image quality was sharp but after i installed the gpu it went down quite noticeably. I also cant seem to open AMD catalyst software. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

for your gpu you need to get the new crimson driver for your os and gpu from amd .

i already reinstalled the drivers, using DDU, nothing has changed.

Have you checked the Display Scaling options? You'll want that set to 0%.

looks like swapping the vga cable with a dvi one solved the bluriness of the monitor. However im still unable to open the AMD Catalyst software

If you've got the new Crimson drivers; it's been redesigned and re-branded as AMD Settings.

Sorry, i dont really get what you mean. Do you mean to i need to install crimson drivers?

yes the old one are obsolete so use the new crimson driver .
