I installed a Nvidia founders edition 1080ti recently with a Samsung Syncmaster P2770 monitor. After the installation the colors on my monitor seemed off and the text slightly blurry.

My drivers are up to date.

How do I fix this?

Solution
Blurry can be a lower resolution, or like my 1080ti install, the system reverted to a RGB color signal which causes outlining and less-than-ideal picture quality than say YCbCr444.

IF you are using a HDMI cable, you might need to go into the TV settings and select a non "PC" preset i.e. Samsung->PC-->EDIT-->Gaming Console and save, and use a "Gaming Console" preset or similar but be warned it might auto-reset at times as this is a current issue I'm having. I can tell by my log in screen if it's reverted or not at this point, so just a heads up. That'll allow the TV-side settings to unlock like HDR, dejudder, better sharpness, etc. Had a higher-end Vizio before that needed a similar treatment.

Both sets, auto-detect a "PC" and will...
you will need to adjust your monitor settings first in the OSD menu. most factory default monitor settings are really bad on first use. tweak them alittle and read your manual. adjust things like overdrive levels, contrast, sharpness, display mode, etc.

Both sets, auto-detect a "PC" and will "lock" some TV-quality settings (stupidest thing ever tbh) if left as-is. By changing the preset to what the PC is being treated as (i.e. NOT a "PC") should unlock the better TV-side settings that are always better than the semi-locked "PC-only" settings which are usually rather basic.
