Blurry Text with Nvidia Graphics Card

Hello,

I just bought a new ASUS-K501LX and I've had some problems with it. One, the backlit keyboard wont work. Two (The most important) some applications such as ESET, Skype, and basically anything that is not a windows service shows blurry text that can be hard to read. I have a 15" display and a resolution of 1920 X 1080. My GPU is the NVIDIA 950m and I have an intel i7 5500U.

Please I need help with this, it is really bothering me. I'll post some pictures of what this looks like.

You need to:
1) Update all your drivers
2) Enable and calibrate ClearType (just search for it in your start screen)
3) Give up because it's an application issue.

Skype definitely has this issue of blurry text, since it refuses to abide by Microsoft recommendations despite being a microsoft product
