So this seems to be really odd. In October I build a gaming rig. I had built one in May, but it died almost instantly. I got faulty parts, twice. My luck, right?
I have a i5 6500. MSI R9 390, Crucial 8GB DDR4 2133, MSI H170A Motherboard.
It was about $800, and I think its a pretty great machine. Fallout 4 seems to have a little trouble, but it has been noted that it runs better on Nvidia cards.
I got Black Ops 3 and it ran pretty well. I maxed it and and got around 60fps. Recently though, Ill drop to, and seemingly lock to 30FPS when I press the windows key. Strange, right? It also drops and locks at 30 if I use full screen 1080p. If I use windowed full screen 1080p, I lock at 60fps.
Any idea what could be going on?
