Board smelled burnt

This board smelled like it was burning when we turned it on(just got it brand new!)and now it wont let us into the bios but it boots to windows fine! Why would it do this? It just freezes every time we try to enter into it and we tried jumping the board twice and we even flashed the bios on windows to the newer version but we still cant get in!


We have a Asus sabertooth am3+

Send it back for an RMA i suppose, when they ask for what reason, just say it's defective and keep's freezing.

I can't blame your ram or anything because it works fine and you tried the jumpers.

Probably faulty bios flash.

Yeah its just strange that it lets my friend boot to windows just fine but never into the bios it just sets at a black screen and the keyboard/mouse is frozen, Heck he is playing deus ex on it now at 1080P just fine.
