Question Board suggestion for I7-9700K

Hi all,

Im looking to upgrade my system and there are so many boards available out there, and not sure which one. I don't want to pay for some features I don't need like RGB.

My budget is 750$US (1000$ CAD).

I am targeting
CPU: I7-9700K
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3200MHz
SSD: already have those
M2: not expected to buy now, but in the future.
Video: Already have a Geforce 1060 6Gb good enough for me...
No need for Wifi as im wired

So the only 2 things left are the board and CPU cooler. For the cooler I was looking for the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Direct Heat Pipe CPU Cooler R2.

Yes I do plan on OC but I don't want to spend outside my budget of 750$.

My cart has the RAM, CPU and Cooler listed above with the Asus PRIME Z390-A PRO at it all comes up to that exact price 750 (976$ CAD).

So if I can save on the motherboard and get a water cooler instead, that might be better for me in order to OC.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks...

Any particular reason you are choosing the 9700k, and 32gb ram? For stock operation, the 212 will work, but I would not overclock with it.

this rig is mostly for X-Plane 11 which doesn't have any advantages of using hyperthreading, at least not shown significant advantages. So sticking with 8 cores.

I would probably recommend going 16gb ram, and invest in better cooling.
