Boggling my mind.

HI guys my computer i recently built is working well but after say 4 or 5 hours it shits off and i cannot turn it right back on and it is realley bugging me please any help.


My specs are:
Case: Fractal design define r4
Cpu: Intel i5 3570k
Gpu: (was about to order until this problem persist)
Hdd: Wd Blue caviar 1tb
Mobo: Asrock z77 extreme4 1155
Psu: Seasonic 660w Fully modular platnium power supply
RAM: G skill ripjaws X 8gb 2 sticks of 4gb

if it takes time to be able to turn it back on, chances are somethings overheating.
have you checked your temps?
is the PC idle when it shuts off, or are you gaming/editing/whatever when it happens

hmm ok ill try but i dont get how it will tell me if its the problem. Because it does work great while it works do you think it can be a part of the ram that's faulty and when its about to be used the computer shuts off? please explain. Thank you

I DONT GET IT ! my temps are fine 🙁

one of them could be defective or the ram slot use the motherboard manual to check all of this and if it boot do a memtest .
