I would like to extend the range of my current wifi and thus be able to share files with my neighbor.
I'm thinking of buying a tp-link W8960N adsl2+ router to replace my linksys WRT54GL setup and thus boost the range due to the fact that the tp-link supports 802.11n
To give you a better idea of my circumstances - I have uploaded a google earth shot of my home and the neighbors home.
Point A is where I have my adsl line installed and where I will have to add the tp-link router - or better solution.
Distance from point A to center of neighbors house C is +- 65m (70 yards)
Point B is where I'm now adding a second office to my home (i'm a fulltime webmaster)
Distance from point B to center of neighbors house C is +- 40m (43 yards)
My question is - what do I buy for point A (maybe the tp-link as mentioned) point B and Point C.
I really prefer not to go the cat 5 route - getting my tubby *** in the roof is a death sentence.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
