Hey Everyone!

Back to business after a while.

CPU AMD 8350
GPU msi HD6850
MoBo Asus m5a97 evo r2.0
RAM corsair 2gbx2, 4gbx2 = 12gb(1333MHz)
PSU corsair 750W (CSM CS750M)
HDD Seagate 1TB

Not a new rig. But everything was fine until few days ago. Was using my system and suddenly display became disoriented and the display went black but CPU was running. I switched off the power. Next time when I tried power ON it is stuck at BOOT_DEVICE_LED lit and NO Post.

Troubleshootings I tired,
  1. Removed GPU but No luck.
  2. Tried different RAM sticks in different slots but No luck.
  3. Disassembled all the parts, cleaned and reassembled but No luck.
  4. Disconnected CD-ROM and HDD and tried to boot but No luck.
Did I miss anything?

It is still stuck at Boot Device LED lit and No Post.

Yet to try to Flash BIOS.

Anyone faced this issue ??

Please help, suggest ...

Is it Mobo ? or HDD ? or CPU ?

Will flashing bios help?

PSU corsair 750W
Corsair is the brand of the unit while 750W is the advertised wattage of the unit. Please add the model of the unit as well as the age of unit in question.

RAM corsair 2gbx2, 4gbx2 = 12gb
Might want to work with one kit. Speaking of kits, got a link to those kits outlined?

Did you try sourcing another PSU to power your entire build? As for the specs, you forgot to include the storage drives in your build.

The BOOT_DEVICE led is telling you that the machine can't find an operating system. Perhaps some files were corrupted when the machine "went off". Check in BIOS to make sure you have the proper boot device selected and the boot order correct. If so you may need to repair or reinstall the OS.

Updated the specs.

Yes I tired that too with the RAM.
Yet to try with another PSU unit but will it cause this issue? as the display scrambled before this entire issue happened.

Since there is No post (Black screen) and stuck at Boot led ON, I cannot move beyond that.

You forgot to add the age of the PSU.

Was using my system and suddenly display became disoriented and went off.
Yes, it can, might've taken out your boot drive in the process.

PSU age 7 years
HDD age 10 years
I was guessing it could be because of Mobo since it was outdated when I bought it along with PSU.

Hope it's not because of CPU.

This is so hard to diffuse since there is No display, not even the boot screen.

One more update in my question which was misleading.

When I mentioned went off it was only the display and not the CPU, CPU was running.
